Unlike the marshall acton ii it doesnt have a voice assistant

You can have the music blasting at full volume and the acton ii will hear you without you needing to raise your voice

This isnt usually possible with other native alexa devices where if the tv volume is too high or you have the water running you have to turn all of that off before the device will hear you

For those that dont want assistant integration the acton ii has a mute button that you can turn on that shuts off the assistant

Aside from the acton ii i also have a standard bluetooth bose soundlink mini portable speaker that for the most part sat on my bookshelf unused because its just a hassle to walk over to the device turn it on and then wait for the phonedevice to connect before being able to stream music

It is always connected to wifi and even supports spotify connect which means there is absolutely no need to press any buttons or activate anything before you can use the speaker
