Its all about the sound period secondarily its about how the sound gets to the speaker the stanmore 2 has it all but the big beware is if you opt to purchase the speaker with google voice or alexa voice you have to think of the circuitry added to the speaker for voice right now google and alexa are on their version 3 in about a year the voice in your speaker will be out dated when a newer version 4 rolls out how long will the current voice circuitry last before it becomes redundant most other voice controlled speakers will be in the dump marshall speakers are made to last if you really want google or alexa voice buy the separate google voice or alexa dot as a separate unit and hook it up via aux or bluetooth this way you can stay up to date if you want voice without having redundant circuitry that will go out of date in the speaker there is also the case of liking some music you dont want to admit too do you really want to tell google or alexa so the whole world knows
