The color is no so dark so dont buy it thinking you can dark it lately

The true is that it looks good when new but after some time the satin finish will become shiny at the parts where the arm touches the wood so it will look uneven not good looking in my opinion there is nothing you can do to avoid that

Its hard to get this glossy parts in the photos so be aware if you go for a used one

This guitar was intended for mellow sound so playing it with mellow strings martin marquis silk and steel or fx silk and phosphor you will get a nice tone almost like the sound of bob dylan or johny cash
