Pros

Mainstream consistently outperform the elixyr brand equivalent. Some are light coated and some have silk. Doesn't get any better or more genuine than these.

Cons

Dead, lifeless. G string constantly breaks with the strings. Other martin high dollar strings coded ones same g string break a lot.
