The first layer of meta with the watcher commenting in italics was a sublime use of a literary device to show the obvious and be the obvious even though there were some stones in that storyline that werent addressed because this is a threebook series i guess

About the only quibble i might have is that it lacks a certain magnetic personality thats prominent in her history but its a very minor issue as the story is tight and you dont really notice that at all

I loved comics when i was young but i havent read them regularly in the past 25 years because i feel they went off the rails years ok with all the rewriting and rebooting of their universe
