Pros

The chair glides easily over the mat with ease and the mat is thick enough to protect the carpet. It grips the carpeting and stays put. I love that the mat shipped flat.

It stays in place and no rips so far and i spend at least 30 hrs a week sitting on my office chair since i work from home. Totally recommend for individual and corporate use.

Cons

The spikes are short and should work on woven carpet but they don’t. I have a standard pile carpet, basically flat with a pattern, and this carpet protector constantly moves around and bumps into the inner corners of my pottery barn desk.
