Cons

The mat initially performs well, but has no long term durability. The worst part is that these marvelux mats are priced at a premium (~20%) more than others.

It's being used on a medium-pile rug and has cracked in several places. Three months in and it's cracked. The average for me is about 4-6mo to start cracking and be unusable at around 12mo.

The stubs are too short. The studs are short, so it migrates across the carpet often. This is really only for low pile carpet where carpet + pad is only 1/2 total.

I had no control over it at all and fell forward very hard onto the back side of the mat (where all the little spikes are).

Price

It was a little pricier than others but i think it will last longer.

Packaging/appearance

This came coiled into a 12"x12"x48" square box.

They warn you on the box, and they’re not kidding.

The mat came rolled up but unrolled with some oomph.

Competitiveness

I tried another brand, homek, and it was substandard, making chair movement difficult because of the indentations from the casters.

I just today switched it out with a new one of the same brand but a larger size.
