Pros

Spikes are sharp enough to have a firm grip on carpet. My carpet is about 9/16 thick with pad so technically it is thicker than the chair mat is designed for.

Cons

The durability stated in the description is not really accurate. Nubs on bottom are too short.

The mat curls one the dges when you step into the middle of it. I have normal (not *) carpeting in my office and the mat tends to slide considerably. Every 2 days i have to reposition the mat, because it moves way.

Totally disgusted with the lousy quality. Item is falsely advertised. It's like the product degraded or something.

Best mat i have had as it does not have any dents in it from the chair!

Heavy duty steel frame, very heavy chair rolls beautifully.

I’ve used this mat daily for nearly two years and there are no dents or grooves whatsoever!

I had no control over it at all and fell forward very hard onto the back side of the mat (where all the little spikes are).
