After much research this product fits the bill! The mat looks good and retains its structure perfectly.
Does what it flipping says, yes it's more expensive than the cheap vinyl rubbish, but this one actually works!
Cons
If you keep the chair mainly in the centre of the mat it moves around less. The edges are really sharp, hurting your feet and even tearing your socks - this is a serious defect from a health and safety point of view.

Put on a high pile carpet, perfect outcome, can't be more happy.
Hope it can last for 3+ years, anything under that will be a disappointment given will only be using 10, at most.
Got a friend of mine who is a little heavier than me (being polite) to try it out.
Price
Perhaps expensive for what effectively is a mat, however, i'm really pleased with it and glad i spent the extra money.

Big item postagewise as thickness meant it was folded very loosely may also explain why its not cheap
