I am completely happy with this battery. Won't hesitate to buy another when the spare b&d gives up the ghost.
Cons
It looks to me to be a manufacturing defect. It is higher towards the rear of the battery and lower towards the front, as you can see in my photograph.

Many buy these aftermarket batteries and they don't fit or hold a charge.
Performs just the same if not better, i’ve never been able to line up my whole yard off of one battery charge before using this one.

I cant speak of longevity because i just received the product and i will know more over time about how it holds a charge

I dont know if black and decker went to 20 volt batteries but i find it pretty absurd that they no longer sell batteries for their products
