Pros & Cons
Pros
They work flawlessly and effortlessly every time. Measure carefully the overall width of your hitch receiver.
Hopefully this speaks to longevity as this lock has been in use since 2015. Very pleased. Fast delivery.
Cons
Cylinder was frozen. Still frozen. Cylinder ceased after being on for a year.
It takes a lot of work to force the key into the lock and when i finally get it inserted, it won't turn to unlock. Soaked key hole in wd40 for hours and tried other key. The shaft is too short for the head to properly lock on.
The shank on the lock itself comes up short so you can't get the locking end to lock. Ended up having to buy a small hacksaw to cut it off. Cut off in 20 seconds with a saws-all.
It looks great but the lockfreezes up and becomes useless. Buy something else besides this lock!
Highlights
Quality
So much sturdier than my previous one!
It's the best so far, easy to lock and secure anything you lock and weatherproof.
(suggest lubricating the mechanism seasonally) the rubber weather proofing cap has deteriorated after 3 years.
I think it's better quality than the one it's replacing so just remember to take care of the lock.
Price
Definitely worth the money for a little peace-of-mind when away from my vehicle and trailer.

Normally the key would go in from the end which can be difficult to align and the lock wants to rotate with the key

It also snaps on without turning the key but the key must be inserted

If you remove the key then try to snap it onto the pin it wont go
