Excellent for travel to prevent crimes of opportunity, to secure personal belongings in common spaces like hostels and dorm rooms.
That kind of goes for most locks; at least the traditional masterlocks will pop open if thwacked with a hammer so .
This turned out much easier to operate and see verses the one that came with his bag

I got 2 of these at bed bath beyond for 5 each i actually would rate them quite highly

Further and most important they are i relatively cheap for this kind of lock and ii it is relatively difficult to find locks that have a larger mouth like these

Negatives1 do note that while these appear a good deal tougher than a luggage lock they would be easily defeated with a pair of pliers or really any tool
