Pros
The original one has a brass casing and the new ones are painted to look like brass. Easy to change the combination by not rotating the dials after opening them. Pro tip is to spray internal lock with a teflon type lubricating spray once in a while.
Cons
If you want a marine quality combination lock buy a sesamee. Returned defective lock to amazon and got a packaged (carded) one. Don't get scammed.
Sometimes i have to lube it to get it to open. Other times it needs lube to lock. Code reset isn't avaible to a lock that's been used. Lock is useless without the code someone previously set.

The challenge is that the numbers on the bottom are a little small and can be tough to operate in a poorly lit locker room

I’ve used these locks outside on my fence and my breaker box and these have lasted years outside despite year round humidity
