Pros

Very sturdy lock for a great price. Long enough to clear the clasp. The length of the lock's shackle is excellent and has made it far easier to thread through the gate latch on my fence.

Cons

The lock was already set to a 4 digit code. You lose this key, you can’t change the combo. The reset key only works when it's open.

They had to cheapen and make worthless in china. Makes me wonder if they are really master locks or a knock off. Either a counterfeit or just a cheap version. These are cheap, and in my opinion worthless.

Oiling and servicing per masterlock instructions and using masterlock oil did nothing to improve performance. Broke in less than a week! They require you call in for a replacement shipping address.

Light reflectiveness of the actual material used in the build. They complete corroded after one year. Don't oxidize to uselessness in a marine environment.

I’ve used this model for several years put some lubricant on them from time to time and they hold up great outdoors

They are very sturdy and are easy to change the combination.

After 3 weeks with some rain, they were very difficult to turn the tumblers.

Went to combo locks to get rid of all the keys.

Wish they were a little cheaper tho.
