Pros

These are great little locks that are fairly weatherproof. They are used on garages door latches and a gate latch. It is important to use graphite lock lubricant to keep the lock working properly.

Cons

Product description is an outright falsehood. Metal jacket on the locks is surprisingly cheap as well, and corrodes quickly. A bit cheesy.

They need to be manhandled and twisted in all directions to just the right angle before they will clip in. Unable to open without excessive prying.

Water starts corroding the metal within days as mine have. These are not truly waterproof.

I like that the three pack are keyed with the same key so we only have to deal with one key.

Keys are cheap, seem pretty good for my trailer, was expecting better quality but so far they are good

However, with the rubber coating on them, they would not fit through my home gate lock.

Packaging/appearance

I figure 3 locks in the pack will last me 15 years at that rate in super harsh elements.

Removed the washers and cut away the rubberized coating on the latch.
