Lock Mechanism
Customers are highly satisfied with the lock mechanism of the Master Lock 517D, praising its adjustability and ease of use. The long shackle is also appreciated for making final closure easier in certain situations. However, some acknowledge that it's a low-security warded padlock suitable for securing less valuable items.
Highlights
Quality
Very strong and secure, gret for sheds
Perfect for my garden shed as it has a long shackle and the sliding doors are always difficult to close.
Easy to use, key-in-hole is a bit flimsy, but we all know that a long shackle is used to secure things together, not prevent robbery.
The lock works well however the necessity of locking with the key is a nuisance.
Price
But for the price it's a good deal for sure.
