I do not know if the sliding pin will rust it does not seem to be stainless steel i believe there is only a one yr warranty

It wont work on all trailer hitches unless they open up the distance for the pin so it can slide over a wider hitch

With this lock it’s no way they can cut the lock off or bully it off
