Pros
Locking gimble action works very smoothly. Bought this for a backpacking trip through europe to use on hostel lockers. Thin, slender and 4 digit combo, all good.
Cons
The 643d is an exceptionally poor performer. Purse and phone were stolen; over $1500. Overall, a shameful product from an otherwise good company.
Don't make the same mistake. Do not buy this. Don't waste your money. Wouldn't buy again.
Lock was struck once and broke in half. Had to get gym staff to cut the lock for me after 15 minutes of trying my combination.
Of 4 padlocks 643d seem to have malfunction. It is so small that i need to pull very strongly on the base of the padlock in order to get sufficient opening to rotate the locking system.
Lock is utterly useless now as i can't get the right combo to unlock it. There is a tendency for the combo to be changed inadvertently when handling the lock. Remember, no reset.

Someone sharp edges though guess thats why they are so cheap

Once in awhile it just will not locksometimes re calibrating works other times you just replace it
