Pros & Cons
Pros
Seems to be very high quality and durable. Descent lock for the money.
The 875d is definitely heavier & sturdier. It feels hefty and very sturdy.
Cons
Flimsy, numbers stay locked with combination showing when opened. The numbers spin so freely, it's as if they are not engaging anything. The number dials sometimes stick.
It looks very sturdy but quality is very bad. Tumblers feel cheap and don't line-up precisely. The other flaw is that it is made out of zinc.
Highlights
Quality
Heavy duty and great for all climates, we live beside the ocean and after 6 months so far there is no corrosion or rust on them.
Easy to program, use it to keep my back gate locked
Mechanism froze up after 2 months, no amount of lubricant solved the issue, had to cut it off.
The first 5 months we had this lock it was securing a dinghy in salt water, getting repeatedly dunked.
Packaging/appearance
Less than 2 minutes from opening the package to having it set with my own combination.
Competitiveness
Once you compare this model to the less expensive version, you can see that this one is better built and smoother in operation.
