It is quite heavy lock the fitting to carry lock is strong. Although the head piece is plastic and it feels a bit cheaper than the kryptonite lock, it is nevertheless a pretty sturdy lock.

Even though the product is sturdy it can get a bit frustrating trying to lock and unlock as the key gets stuck sometimes

Once about 4 years ago when somebody took a hacksaw to it and took off the outside rubber coating and didnt damage the lock itself and once last night when somebody tried to remove my bike from railings

The frame of my bike twisted before the lock gave in

Only thing to mention is the lock needs oiling about once a year if you leave it in the rain

I do not leave my bike out at night so i am not sure how antitheft this really is

However it was delivered without the mounting bracket and as the packing of the item was quite poor it may have fallen out in transit
