I had been using cable rope locks previously but i disliked wrapping the cable around the seat and having the lock dangle hitting my bike during the ride

That being said i still dont think id use this in all but the lowest security situations such as locking a bike up and running into a store to grab a drink or at least on a bike i really wouldnt be to heartbroken about losing

And just to have peice of mind id still want to be able to keep an eye on it no matter the possible dollar amount thats just my opinion

And thats not to be particularly negative on this lock or brand but the type or style of lock i think they are fine if you use them in the right circumstances or possibly even conjuction with another higher seccurity lock
