Works great for an old barn door. Only gripe i have is the finish. But the lock and hasp is worth the money.

    Drilling the 6 holes in the thick metal gate pannels to mount the lock on the outside was a challenge but once the holes were drilled the lock mounted easily with 6 4 1234 carriage bolts not included

    My only complaint is its hard to remove the key after its locked into place i have found the key tumbler has to be in a perfect touchy vertical position to remove the key

    I braced the doors behind using 2x6s and sent the carriage bolts through

    You might have to lubricate the key slide once in a while to help it move back and forth
