Pros

These are very thick cables and very sturdy. Fact and friendly customer service.

It's able to stay in place because that end of the cable has a durable metal cap that's crimped on. It has an articulating arm which allows flexibility. I like the cinch feature where you turn the lock halfway in order to cinch down the cable.

Having 2 keyed alike works great as it eliminated hasle of figuring out which key goes with which lock. Because the propane tanks are much larger than the battery case, these cable locks allow me to size accordingly.

Cons

This product is simply junk. After multiple attempts at locking the cable in place i cold still pull the cable back out with less than 40 lbs of force. The locks were not keyed alike as advertised.

Here is an important tip when cinching the cable in the lock .

The cable itself is covered in durable plastic and is almost 1/2 inches thick (including the plastic coating).

But, they cannot help if you did not leave sufficient slack in the cable to push it further forward into the lock.

Competitiveness

Any locksmith with a master lock rekey kit should be able to do this for you.

We purchased two 6-foot locks and are using them to lock down the battery and propane tanks on our new travel trailer.
