Pros

This is no wsm or bge, so don’t expect that, but it is good for what it is. Just as advertised. Very satisfied with my new *.

Well built, compact, holds heat well, drains juices ok. Still a good product and very portable.

A great little *, but hard to get the temp below 240 degrees. Toss the wood chip tray it comes with and buy a bigger one. I have a two probe thermometer that measures both meat temperature and the grill temp.

The size is enough that you could do two 8-10 pound pork butts. It fit 17 lbs of brisket or 2 full racks of spare ribs or 8 full tri-tips. Have made some awesome chicken, meatloaf and polish sausage.

Cons

Chip tray lasts 30 minutes. Not budging on the temp. Has almost no temp control.

Back of the * was nicely dented. Between the regulator and the fire, totally cheap and potentially dangerously bad quality.

For the money, this thing is great.

Truthfully, though, for the price, you could use it until its totally caked up-- and toss it and and buy another one.

Packaging/appearance

Low temp setting had the box at about 235o which is perfect for typical bbq meats.

I had a smoke box with a lid that i filled with apple chips and placed it where the one that came with it was.

I also took a foil pie pan and placed it on top of the chip box and water pan.
