Theres no temp control for it so it takes a bit to get the temp right via the vent on the main smoker but you can still monitor the temp by turning on the main unit and not entering any settings

If you soak the chips and have good conditions you might be able to get 4 hours of smoke out of 1 load

The masterbuilt original smoker tube is garbage

After the thick white billowing smoke is gone youll get a nice thin bluish grey smoke

Also the seal between the cool smoker and the masterbuilt smoker is not air tight
