Pros

I use this at 6000ft altitude, year round and it makes great jerky, ribs and briskets alike. Using both together gives me good control over temp and smoke.

Cons

Do yourself a favor and don't bother. It's not worth the headache if something goes wrong. Advise not to buy.

I'm terrified that this thing is going to break at any moment. The issue with this is that the * will only go up to 275 normally meaning the true temp can never go above 240. Only use it once last summer 2018 and the heating element is broken.

The whole thing sometimes just shuts off. There must be an electrical short in the *. The control panel has been compromised.

The smoke produced is thick and white, in bursts, and leaves a bitter flavor into your meats. The glass front is pretty worthless because the smoke/steam as you cook makes it so you can't see anyway.
