This configuration helps with long smokes with the clean up much easier.
I have not myself experienced any of these issues and i would highly recommend this product.
But, still, if the app works the grill would be a 5 star instead of a 4.
However, the quality of some of the important parts is pretty bad.

There is a lot of negatives towards shipping and manufacturing defects.
Competitiveness
I still own a traeger smoker and much happier with the versatility of the masterbuilt 1050 gravity fed system.
Replaced my treager with this and it's a upgrade as far as i'm concerned.
Also seered some ribeyes at 700 degrees and they came out very good.
They even gave an extra set of screws/bolts incase you dropped one (which i did).

In my case the entire grill chamber was bent out of square so that when i try to slide in the racks and bottom tray there are big gaps and they do not sit square
