Pros

Easy and intuitive to use. With clear and concise instructions.

This is the most simple most reliably delicious poultry we've ever had. Lid is thin, gets hot unlike my last turkey fryer. Recommend a dry brine to get flavor in the meat.

This item is great for frying, boiling, and steaming a great many things. It is so much cleaner (and safer) than the old pot on the propane burner outside.

This thing is amazing. You won't be disappointed. Unfortunately i have to use scotch tape to hold in the reset button.

Cons

This fryer looses 125 to 150 degrees while frying. The same problem with the brand new fryer, using never open peanut oil & flour. The whole fryer feels cheap, especially the lid feels to thin.

It is really wiggly and doesn't seem to attach snuggly. The plug magnetically attaches to the unit and it is fickle.

Wish i had gotten this when it was on sale but a good price regardless.

That really is the only downside is that it takes about $45 worth of peanut oil or more.

I bought the unit in mid november and used it for the first time on thanksgiving day - easy to use and the results were terrific!
