Pros
A 20 x 1/2 inch dowell fits in the rack grooves when hanging sausage and snacksticks. Unit has a large capacity so i can do 4+ racks of ribs simultaneously or 2 or 3 briskets simultaneously. Great for summer sausage, to snack sticks, to briskets.

Cons
All over the * enthusiast forums, fb groups and right here on amazon was the same warning. Now it’s broken again and keeps shutting itself off every 20-40 minutes.
Spent over $70 on new element and controller, no resolution. Masterbuilt owes me $35 for the new controller and $18 for lava lock silicone. Overpriced garage heater.
It is not insulated and gets hot to the touch. Manufacturing malfunction not allowing it to vent properly so the steam gets caught in the time/temp setting.
To me this is highly unacceptable. While this may seem very trivial at 1st period after putting it on the stand it becomes very top heavy and the sides are slippery. Don’t even bother with the bot.

It has been one of the best outdoor cooking investments i've made.
Great quality and easy to follow instructions
The smoker body cavity has (2) smoke/moisture escape point on the top of the body.
After (4) hours of new use, my control shorted out.
Price
All for a good value as well, i'll have to use it a few times and come back to this review and add what i find out.
So if you want to venture into smoking foods, this unit is simple to operate, thus a good starter system for a low initial cost.
For the price, i took the gamble that there wasn't more internal damage and this was just cosmetic.
Shipping
The shippers/fedex dumps it off on your doorstep and escapes before you can get to the box.
Still have not received a response from masterbuilt on the shorted control/display.
Just pray that it survives the shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Easy set up, packaged very well to protect it while shipping.
I opened the top and saw how it was packed and cut the side off to slide it out.
Don't get pissed this thing is really well packed.

Smokes well though after several uses the window in the front is less useful as it clouds pretty quick and is hard to see through but that doesnt affect how the unit cooks

Mine didnt include probes so i picked up some wireless ones and am very happy with this smoker

The only way it would take 25 minutes is if you have had practiced multiple times and used a few power assistance tools
