Pros
Was craving some smoke ribs over at lucille’s. It feels very safe, durable and we have it plugged in on our back patio. The digital controls are worth the extra money. It is a foolproof way for every meal to come out perfect.
Cons
Masterbuilt has not responded to any of our complaints. We have contacted them twice and they have not responded. It's a common issue that deserves a response no matter where on the warranty spectrum you are and they did nothing.
Smoke and steam from the * was getting into the control panel and causing buildup and condensation. Masterbuilt only replace smokers with the same model instead of refunding your money. Do yourself a favor, get a real *.
Why they didn't make this out of stainless is beyond me. The paint is not heat resistant so it has all burned out and began to rust. It is my opinion that it was built with cheap materials and should not be rusting so severe in just 4 months.

I have found that the ambient temperature differs from what is on the displayed temperature and ambient temp can be inconsistent throughout the different levels of the smoker

So i bought the cold smoker and now i can load a couple hours worth of wood chips and since there is only a wire screen between the chips and the heating element the wood chips burn much more efficiently
