It's a great device and with some ingenuity, you can control the smoke level pretty easy. I use it for regular smoking and it produces 50% more smoke than the masterbuilt unit. Would recommend this for any masterbuilt *.

Cons

Slow * is a dangerous add-on to masterbuilt electric smokers. The smoke generator cannot be connected directly to the masterbuilt mes140s, the difference in level is almost two inches. There are some dents and my lid doesn't line up quite right.

This is worst costumer service i ever have experienced. Total shame that this was so poorly executed.

The price for the screen, the chimney and the cap is tantamount to paying $10. I'm not sure the minor cosmetics are anything to make a huge fuss over. Amazon and masterbuilt claim only a 30 day return window.

The device broke after 2 calendar yrs. It is a fairly simply device. Still no power.
