For true cold smoking (cheeses for example) put a pan of ice in with the food.
Makes using my smoker easier and gives great flavor with the wood chips i use.
This should be fixed with higher quality paint.

Packaging/appearance
My only complaint is that the ash tray handle was broken right out of the box.
Can this smoker be added to the masterbuilt smoker with legs.
It’s a lot better then refilling the masterbuilt smoker chip tray every 30mins.
Honestly, i'm not sure i would really recommend getting the masterbuilt smoker without this smoke box.
Competitiveness
This is a must for anyone with a masterbuilt smoker.
I use it for regular smoking and it produces 50% more smoke than the masterbuilt unit.
The model of masterbuilt electric smoker i have has legs so i couldn’t use the leg supports supplied.
As long as you fully open the vent on your masterbuilt smoker there is zero smoke lost from the cold smoker.

Also the chips stick to the inside of the chip holder and you have to push them down ever so often

If i have 1 bad thing to say it woild be that the wood chip tube gets jammed up with sap from the chips burning

Had to install longer bolts in place of factory pegs on the main smoker to get this in a good place
