Pros
Masterbuilt is good quality. I look forward to seeing how it performs over a longer period of time. Easy to grill. Works great for st. Louis style ribs.
The only disappointing thing about this * is the * tray toys out. It is so easy to start and keep the temp on this *. First time * buyers. Smoked a 12.
The metal is a heavy gauge and it feels sturdy and solid. The cook book that comes with the unit is sufficient to get you started. I put two metal rods across the burner heat shield and put a 10 cast iron frying pan on top.

This allows you to use charcoal and still put your wood chips in the pan without them catching fire
I use aluminum foil in catch pan and water pan and chip tray just to keep clean and easy cleanup as well.
5 pound brisket for about 13 hours and it fell apart.
The first lasted > 7 years outside, mostly uncovered until the propane hose cracked and the fire was outside the smoker.
Price
This wasn’t a lot of money, and we love it.
Take yuh our time putting it together and you will have a wonderful product at a great price.

A few minor damages in shipping which they replaced immediately.

I start out hot 300 for a bit then low and slow 200 for several or more hours

Not much but some rust is also why the new smoker
