Pros & Cons
Pros
The smoked/tinted side panel is just gorgeous, and the front and side panel retention system is fantastic. Best of all, the mesh front panel means the case will actually help keep your components cooler. It's by far one of the bast cases i have ever p... Read More
The bottom plate the secludes the psu from the rest of the build is fantastic, and hides some of my bad cable management skills. The 3 fans that come with the case are not pwm this is fine, but if you add additional fans you may want to purchase pwm t... Read More
Many mobos only have one 3. Usb-3 usb 3. Ssd mounts on the back of the mobo area. Plenty of ssd mounts. Integrated rgb led control is a nice touch and i like the tempered glass look.
The glass was and still is in perfect condition, the air flow is great the modularity is great. The case does heavy cad work without a single issue. There is better airflow than i thought it would have too.
The handles at the top are more than sturdy for my build. The removable top radiator mount is a big plus. This was instrumental in easier planning of my loop.
Highlights
Quality
In my opinion the quality of materials is really good.
High quality materials and a spacious interior make this case a joy to build in.
Unfortunately mine was missing the standoffs and screws for the motherboard and didn't come with the solid front panel like the box says.
The molex power cable will need the extender power cable that comes with the psu.
Packaging/appearance
Very fragile and flimsy plastic covering the very easy to bend pins.
A caution comment i have is about the knob to remove the tempered glass panel.
Competitiveness
25 bay where i put a blu-ray reader, all without having to completely remove it, thank you magnets.
I bought the mc500 to replace my older haf932 case which was quite a bit taller and did not have usb3 connectivity on the front panel.
My biggest and most disappointing complaint about this case is the top isn't big enough to fit a 240mm radiator.
But there's plenty of room in the front for a 240mm radiator.
