Cons

There was no indication leading up to the masterwatt failure that there was trouble. Was easy to install and worked fine for about a month. If no power is provided to the mb, that is what is wrong with it.

The psu fan rattles / vibrates every time it starts-up. Then, my pc restarts while in the middle of loading up a game. It's as if there's not a clean connection to the prongs or something. The psu was completely dead.

The listing for the item advertised that there was a $30 rebate. The rebate offer did not start until november 8th - one day after i purchased the power supply.

Cooler master lost a customer. Company making product has a warranty but i need to open my computer up again to get the full serial number. I don't want a replacement since i had to shell out immediately for a new replacement power supply, i want them... Read More

Purchased at thanksgiving at a great price, works stable and quiet, now it goes to twice the price

This psu is very budget limited model and is not worth it for that price.

However, at time of this review, the price is around $80.

Competitiveness

Good power supply so far, i got it on sale for cheaper than i believe a 550-watt so went ahead and got more power.

I had a coolermaster ps in a server for years, it croaked one day.

Coolermaster uses different modular connectors than the competition, so interswitchability is not possible.
