Pros

New design includes a matfer logo in the handle. New design uses a new rivet design which is a little cleaner looking.

It develops seasoning quickly. Cleanup is easy - i highly recommend pan scrapers such as the lodge 2 pack for about five bucks.

The pan smoked like crazy (ergo outdoors on the grill). This is the best pan i've ever owned! Right size for my cooking needs. Those are fantastic, even for other non-pan purposes (spatulas, baking dishes, etc).

It is the newest version, lays flat on the electric range, has a good weight, but not cumbersome and cleans up easily.

Seasoned pan is sooo much slipperier than the best teflon and zero pfas!
