Pros

I find that they are very much unisex and look good on me. These a very lightweight and comfortable. They are heavier than my other maui's which will take some getting used to.

Tinting seems a bit “brighter” than the costas i have. Natural color comes throught the lens with good sunlight protection. The mirror blue lens is spectacular.

I am a costa loyalist but am willing to change it up occasionally and these are an acceptable alternative. Can’t get over the styling on these.

The overall the construction of the glasses seems sturdy and well made.

Solid, well made, classy and really help your eyes.

They are made of a rubbery material that hug your face without stretching when they are on your head.

The nose pieces are also not your traditional clear rubber.

Price

My $50 sunglasses enhance green and i think most people would be happy with those.

Very pricy, but these maui jims are the real deal.

The $270 maui jim’s look like $20 sunglasses.

It was $100 cheaper and they’re new.

In the box, you get a maui jim info pamphlet that lists info about the warranty, contact info and other useful info.

The glasses come with a nice foldable case, which is a plus for me.

Competitiveness

After trying all of the other major sunglass brands these are, by far, my favorite.

Obviously, these are name brand, pricier sunglasses that are built to perform - and perform they do.

I do think the light transmission is better than others.

As far as darkness factor, i would say they are similar to ray ban polarized wayfarers with the classic lenses.
