I followed the instructions but still ordered too large a size

I must have ordered the wrong size because i couldn’t begin to get the strap fastened all the way around my leg if that’s how it’s supposed to be

However i found that the rubberized strip at the upper edge did a fine job of keeping it from rolling and maybe just having the strap go along the back of my leg i did adjust it to make it fairly taut that way helped i’m not sure

I sent them back and got my refund

If youre not sure try them anyway and if they dont work out within the return time frame you can send them back

Its more like a tight sock
