Pros

This meat grinder works just fine. Meets all of my grinding needs. No more costly preground meat.

My old one is only 180 watts, but is finally slowing down. I have this maverick model for 8 years and it works same as in the first day. Works great and it's not too loud.

Overall quality is top drawer. The longest is prep and cleaning. Clean up is easy.

Cons

The machine was not engineered properly. The male and female fittings are both plastic,small and not very sturdy.

I have owned the product between two and three months.

Price

Don't know why it went up so much in price.

Competitiveness

Bought another one for my house that runs on 220v ac.

Works like a champ, looking forward to making sausage links soon.

I ground about 4lbs in less than 20 mins.
