Years ago one used to be able to get watch batteries replaced for 5 at the local drugstore but they havent offered this service in years

After years of being charged double to have my tags battery replaced 34because it is a waterproof tag34 and then seeing that it only takes them a minute or two at each place i went so no special cleaning or care over my waterproof seiko sportswatch i decided to try to replace the battery myself and bought the special little wrench to remove the back on ebay

The battery was easy to remove popped right out and the inside was a bit dirty after all those professional 3040 battery replacements so they were definitely not doing all the special care they said they were doing as justification for the higher fee

With the money i save i can now better afford someday to get a real cleaning done with complete disassembly and rebuild
