Pros
This has flavour or scent as well as colour. I adore this crayon because it is such a vibrant colour and it is sparkly! Not really a flavour, but excellent colour.
The pros are modern colour, long lasting and moisturising. The packaging is sturdy and can be layered with other products.
Cons
The crayon glides on greasy, very inconsistently and, very patchy. It tastes pretty grim when you inadvertently get a taste of it. It comes off everywhere and actually makes your lips feel drier. Lip balm is clearly used, not in original packaging.

Don't mix them with the baby lips lip balm or you'll have a bit of a shock.
The baby lip stick is encased in a light weight plastic cover and twists up like a conventional lip stick, has a similar amount of product.
Price
Colour and texture brilliant and price is fantastic!
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is sturdy - i have a boots equivalent where the top has split, but the maybelline packaging is better.
The packaging is very much orange, but the product itself is an orangey pink.

Competitiveness
It contains moisturising oils, which is a bonus.
The moisturising oils are beneficial, helpful and comforting.
However, the more moisturising a lip product, the less time it seems to last.

I’m not sure i like the shape of the crayon as opposed to the shape of the regular lip balm the lip balms are wider and this is more pointy but that’s a small detail

Of course its not just how it goes on but how it stays on that matters and unfortunately this is where maybelline loose a star as it doesnt really last more than a morning without a topup

Not sure why would be useful for school productions where a little bit of colour is required and its not the end of the world if the lip stick gets left in the dressing room
