The stripe pattern adds a nice touch to what would otherwise just be a plain white expanse. The stripe is noticeable but not too shiny, more of a pattern than a silky strip.
Cons
The top sheet is so wrinkled it barely covers the flat area of my mattress. The pockets are deep enough for my mattress which is nice, but they stay on just ok. It says “mattresses up to 18” thick,” but the fitted sheet doesn’t fit our 17” mattress.
This is the 2nd time i've been duped by product description and good reviews. The product is not labelled anywhere for oeko-tex certification. The only label on the product indicates 100% cotton.

These sheets are a lovely woven stripe pattern but beware you need to follow the included instructions and wash them thoroughly before use as they have some sort of rather unpleasant musty preservative smell on them out of the package thats similar to old canvas military gear
