They came out of the box soft, hefty, and pretty.
Only thing which bothered me when open the pack very bad smell i can feel .
The did smell a little funny coming out of the packaging but the smell went away when washed.

The back inner flaps are a good feature—better than some of the big box store ‘sale’ pillowcases.
I got different set of 100% cotton pillowcases recently, but these are much nicer.
The pillowcases themselves are noticeably soft compared to other pillowcases.
The entire reason i ordered these is because i'm so happy with the other set that i have from this brand.

The damask stripes are woven in not printed and the pillowcases look far nicer in person than they do in their product photo

They have a kind of moth ball smell to them but i think its more from the box than the pillow cases because the smell dissipated quickly
