These are the crossbars that belong on the mx9. Looks much better than the aftermarket crossbars but maybe not as strong. Fit my wife's 2019 cx 9 grand touring. Way better looking that the after market bars for the cx-9.
Sturdy, good-looking cross bars. Supports my thule cargo box & all its contents with ease. Works great to get my kayaks to the water. Holds my yakima roof rack and a snowboard rack.
Ordered these alongside a decent torx set (https://www. Amazon. Co. Html) these fit exactly like they were designed to.
Mazda cx-9. Glad nothing was lost in transit. Great oem roof rack.
Cons
The directions are from a copy machine that was low on ink and are completely illegible. The product seems flimsy. One of the other reviews here had a mazda sticker on their box which certainly looks oem, mine does not.

The only tool that will connect with the head of the screw is the supplied l-wrench.
Even with the tools they recommend, the half hour job took several hours and a whole lot of cleverness.

Oem crossbars fit my 2018 mazda cx-9 signature perfectly.
However, it is reasonably priced and much cheaper than top brands' generic cross bars.

Note what others have stated in reviews however the installation tool is very difficult to use as the angle required for the screws is in contrast to the rounded edge of the painted roof

The torxallen wrench provided must go 14 turn by 14 turn to secure each screw

The back bar was too low and it took hours to get them hooked up

The instructions suggest to use a torque wrench with a joint socket and extension but it is realistically impossible

The depicted figure showing to use them is totally out of scale the t30 socket plus the joint socked are depicted as if they were half an inch in total

Larger roof top boxes will not fit since the cross bars are close together and close to the hatch
