Pros

Pen works great. As advertised. Also, the fact that it isn't brush ensures no bristles fall out. All things considered, it works pretty darn well.

The 41 matches well for 2016 mazda 3 soul red metallic. Great match to my brilliant black miata paint 1992. My car is the snowflake white pearl.

Cons

Car is only 3 months old and the front of it is peppered with knicks down to the bare metal. I suppose it's protection for bare-metal knicks, but it looks nothing like the soul red paint, is noticeable at 20+ feet on even the tiniest little spots.

I checked and rechecked the color code because i know red is difficult to match. Not even remotely the same red. The color is a dark pink more than a dark red. I'm a bit concerned that this oem/genuine mazda product is a different, darker red color.

First off, this product was a perfect match and pretty easy to apply.

I found it hard to apply evenly; you have to squeeze the pen pretty hard to get the paint to flow and i couldn’t maintain a smooth flow.

It does not flow easily and hand tires from squeezing it.

Price

Still, the extra charge is worth it, because it saves a trip to the dealer.

Packaging/appearance

I did not receive what was in the product photo instead i received a mazda touch up paint pen.

I was afraid it wouldn't match and look worse than a scratch but, it looks great.
