Pros

The filter is original oem. The one on the bottom is the correct one for the turbo engine.

I have the 2016 mazda 3 and the process to change was relatively easy. I recommend googling your model year and make on youtube and that will help you out quite a bit. Fit my 2015 mazda 3 hatchback 2. Works perfectly with my 2017 mazda 3.

Cons

The gasket on the outside of the frame seems to have a poor fit-up with the frame. It fits but is not oem quality. Buy a wix instead or just stick with actual oem.
