After updating to the latest bios xmp causes blue screens constantly. The motherboard is fine, but the accessories are all over the box, the user manual is damaged also.

This msi x570s worked immediately that evening when it arrived allowing an update of the bios to be downloaded from their website to a memory stick

Then i downloaded windows 10 from the microsoft website and i transferred the windows licence from my old machine to this one when i was prompted to activate

Originally ordered a msi mpg b550 gaming board but was only flashed for 3000 chips out the box and it refused to be bios flashed tried with several different usbs no change so returned that and ordered this

This review is for the msi mpg x570s edge max not the x570 gaming edge earlier iteration

When all this was put together on a very straightforward install it booted straight away without a problem i went into the bios and if course as i expected the memory was not running at the correct speed so i clicked xmp to sort this out and the bios was buggy and needed its update
