Its not perfect but we don't slip on the stairs anymore so i'm very pleased with the outcome.
We live in the midwest and the cold weather has not hurt the product.
But then i tried doing the initial press with the roller, and it pressed out so much more micro air bubbles.
(the product includes a handy roller , similar to a small paint roller, that you use during this step).

We removed the carpet and saw that the stairs had at one point been painted but that it was faded and chipped and the stairs were in rough shape

The stairs we used these on are unfinished mdf and with the dust that gets down in the pores it doesn’t stick as well

Use the roller to go over the tread you applied in order to smooth out any air bubbles
