Adhesive Strength
Customers have mixed opinions regarding the adhesive strength of these stair treads. While some report that the adhesive holds up well after initial difficulty in application and the use of additional adhesives or weights, others find it weak and not very effective in keeping the edges down.
Texture
Customers have mixed opinions regarding the texture of the MBIGM stair treads. While some appreciate the non-slip grip provided by the texture, others find the tacky jelly-like backing problematic and difficult to install or remove. I like that there’s no glue to hold them down and the rubber backing holds very well.
Our stair carpets we had for 4 years finally started getting slippery & losing their rubber grip.
The corners and edges of each step grip pad lifts up.
Price
They re affordable and easy to lay down —i just vacuumed and cleaned the stairs first.
I did not expect for the price the adhesive to be that good.
I do wish that they were a little cheaper though but no regrets getting these.
Shipping
They were delivered with great care and came quickly.
Finally got them installed which went really fast.
These arrived and i installed them easily onto some slippery stairs.
Packaging/appearance
These arrived folded and the adhesive is not strong enough to keep the ends from coming up on a couple of them.
Competitiveness
With other companies removing the back cover is difficult.

The backing is “grippy” not “sticky”

If it had a backing like a sticker you wouldn’t be able to throw it in the washing machine and reuse it as the adhesive wouldn’t work anymore
