Pros & Cons
Pros
The lens itself is very well made and the threads are machined perfectly. It has a gold ring all the way around the filter that compliments the gold rings and lettering of a nikkor lens.
The dedication and effort invested in making this product are evident, and the result is impressive. I'm very surprised how well it performs given the price. Needless to say, very pleased with this product.
I'm thrilled with the waka 52mm mc uv filter - ultra slim. The b+w costs a lot more than these waka filters, but they worked and didn't affect image quality. For the cost, ut is an outstanding value and have ordered a 72mm size for another lens.

As good as my expensive uv filters.
I mostly use hoya hmc filters for their performance and value.

Although i have brought expensive filters before, i found them not necessary better than less expensive quality one.

Youll find that generally plastic lenses will be a bit fussier to screw the metal filter on with its fine threads and the metal based lenses with metal body and thread area accept the filter much easier
